me

Funny, happy, creative.

I value relationships. Designing long-term partnerships is important to me. When a client trusts me with what is most valuable to them – an image, product, service or message – I accept with wholehearted dedication. I guess you could say I’m not afraid to commit.

After graduation from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, I gravitated to the capital of the world, New York City. As Art Director at Interiors Magazine, and then at Billboard Magazine, I enriched my education with real-world experience, transforming from an enthusiastic beginner to a seasoned professional.

In the nearly two decades since, I’ve seen the industry morph at a stunning rate – and have kept pace. Part of the excitement of communication is that nothing stands still, and yet there are constants. Like listening to the client, knowing your audience, working with talented collaborators, and following my own highly honed instincts.

I am the daughter of a free thinking beatnik dentist and a lively, creative homemaker, who both valued and appreciated my love of fine art. Among my treasures are many interesting, accomplished friends with whom I trade professional and personal inspiration. Anchored to life’s sweetest rewards by my husband and daughter, my life can best be described by the name of our family cat – Lucky.
